And Ernie DeFrance was one by trainers as well as a man I called Sonny and Billy Seales who taught me how to throw a left jab.<br />I remember sparing with Rodolfo Gonzalez even though as a amateur<br />I was not suppose to spar with the pros. Rodolfo Gonzalez was and probably still is a real nice guy. I like him he never tried to hurt me in the ring and sparring with him was a great learning experience. He was hard to hit with a solid punch and he could counter punch real well. My name is Don Pierce.
