The boxer was released on bail without charge after the incident, which allegedly took place last week at his home in Cwmbran, south Wales. Calzaghe is due to fight American Glen Johnson for his IBF world light-heavyweight title on June 12 and it is unlikely that this incident will affect the proposed bout. A Police spokesman said: "Police can confirm that officers were called to an incident in the Cwmbran area on the morning of Thursday, May 27." "A man was subsequently arrested in connection with an allegation of threatening behaviour, and has subsequently been released without charge on police bail."
